tkined tools dumping core on SGI

Hi. I've been experimenting with tkined and scotty on an SGI Indigo2
running IRIX 4.0.5H. Tkined seems to work fine, but when I try some of the
tools like IP-Discover, tkined dumps core. Are there any known problems
with SGI platforms regarding this?
