There is a patch and a complete tar file that brings the Tk3.6/Tcl7.3
based `official' scotty version up to 1.2.5. This patch fixes a few
ASN.1 encoding problems and adds the ability to scan and format
TimeTicks using the `mib scan' and `mib format' command. I also
received some patches to fix problems uncovered by running the source
through purify.
There is also a new Tk4.0b3/Tcl7.4b3 based version which contains a
few more fixes in the SNMP code. The agent now passes most of the
tests in the SNMP testsuite written by Marshall Rose. (It fails to
detect illegal characters in DisplayStrings as we handle
DisplayStrings just like any other textual convention.) If you are
interested in using the agent, I would recommend to get the
Tk4.0b3/Tcl7.4b3 based version as the agent in the 1.2.5 version does
*not* pass this tests. (I am too lazy to port all my changes back to
the `old' version.)
