You have some strange installation problems. The messages above comes
from the Tk3.6 initialization file and is not directly related to
Tkined. The Tk3.6 initialization file is usually installed into
/usr/local/lib/tk/tk.tcl while the Tk4.0 initialization file is
usually in /usr/local/lib/tk4.0/tk.tcl. There should be no problem
with having both versions on a machine.
Please check the pathes in you Tcl/Tk Makefiles and re-install Tcl/Tk
by recompiling the whole stuff. You can also set some environment
variables. Please consult the Tcl/Tk documentation for further
details.
