I was successfully installed Tcl/Tk 8.0.3, and the scotty-2.10 in my
linux box (RedHat 4.2, Pentium 120, 24 MB, xircom ethernet card). But I
still have problem with asynchronous snmp get. The problem is that when
using asynchronous snmp get, it seems that the call back script will never
run unless I do snmp wait or send a synchronous snmp call.
This only happen when Tnm is loaded from Tcl 8.0 not when using scotty.
Is there any thing I should do to avoid snmp wait command ?
regards

I just released a new version of the scotty package. This is yet
another bug fix release. The most important fix is that this version
works around the new incompatible Tcl channel behavior introduced in
Tcl 8.0.3. This release also includes the patches previously send to
this mailing list. You can find the code in the usual place:ftp://ftp.ibr.cs.tubs.de/pub/local/tkined/scotty-2.1.10.tar.gz
There is also a patch relative to the 2.1.9 version:
ftp://ftp.ibr.cs.tubs.de/pub/local/tkined/scotty-2.1.9-2.1.10.diff.gz
