It looks to me athat some other MIB needs to be imported in the failing Scotty
script.
MIB compilers are generally petulant about inclusions.
Make sure you're loading the mibs ( meaning the "mib load' verb ) in the same
order as
the thing that compiles them properly.

| Subject: [tkined] Loading a "good" mib causing errors |
>-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
I use a MIB which is the top-level mib for Agilent
When trying to load this mib I get about 60 error messages like below:
"AGILENT-MIB.mib: no parent advisor for node advisorGeneral"
"AGILENT-MIB.mib: no parent packetswitch for node model45"
This is a well used mib but for some reason scotty doesn't like this.
The Agilent mib has only OBJECT IDENTIFIERS and no OBJECT-TYPES
Cheers
James
