The 3rd NMRG meeting will be held in Oslo on July 11 1999, the day before the 45th IETF meeting. The meeting will be held at the University of Oslo from 10 am (10:00) til 5 pm (17:00). The address of the meeting place is:

The purpose of this meeting is to finish our work on bulk data transfer:

• Discuss any open issues with regard to the SNMP over TCP document.
• Discuss and select an approach for SNMP payload compression.
• Work out the details of the GetSubTree protocol operation.

In case there is time left, we can discuss the SMIng specification or some other topics (including meta issues about the NMRG itself).
