5th NMRG Meeting in Washington |
The 5th NMRG meeting will be held in Washington DC on November 7-8 1999 during the 46. IETF meeting. The meeting will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. We have two meeting slots:
- Sunday, 7th November:
We will start the meeting at 7pm after the IETF reception. The meeting room is not yet finalized. We therefore plan to meet after the reception at the message board. We will leave a message on the board in case someone arrives late.
- Monday, 8th November:
Bert managed to reserve the room Cabinet on Monday for an additional meeting from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This meeting conflicts with the following IETF WGs: calsch, vpim, dnsind, ospf, ipsec, tsvwg, uswg
We will have several invited IETF people in this meeting. The following people told me that they will attend:
Dave Harrington, Dave Perkins, Dave Levi, Jeff Case, Jon Saperia, Keith McCloghrie, Andy Bierman, Bert Wijnen, Juergen Schoenwaelder, Shawn A. Routhier, Ron Sprenkels, Wes Hardacker (arrives later), Dave Thaler (conflict on Sunday)The purpose of the meeting is to discuss some pressing SNMP related issues in a small group in order to prepare recommendations that can be presented and further discussed at the OPS open area meeting (scheduled for Tuesday, 13:00-15:15). A particular goal of this meeting is to figure out how we can align work items between IETF and IRTF groups and how to proceed on some pressing problems such as missing core data types in SMIv2/SNMPvX.The meeting will be chaired by David Harrington.
