TaskThere is a wide range of different methods for medium access control in wireless networks. This ranges from CSMA/CA to TDMA and many different implementations. If we look at the growing number of wireless devices to support industry 4.0 the amount of data transmitted rises constantly. This poses the challenge of using suitable channel access methods to support industrial applications such as monitoring of environmental conditions in factory halls. For this, we have multiple wireless sensor nodes capable of measuring 3d airflow, temperature, CO2, particles and some other values. The nodes are deployed in multiple industrial scenarios and can be accessed remotely. The task could include some of the following topics:
Depending on your knowledge and interests the task can focus on some of the above-mentioned aspects. It's also possible to look at other aspects of this topic. If you are interested just contact Jan Schlichter to discuss further details. |
