PoP - Palm on the PC

Description: This JAR package contains classes to emulate Palm databases. As a result it is possible to test applications on the desktop of your PC without the need for a Palm emulator (e.g., POSE) or a actual download to the Palm itself.
Features: + emulate a Palm database on the PC
+ store database in pdb files (now with correct name)
+ exchange of pdb files between Palm and desktop is directly possible
+ now improved error handling

PSS - Palm Sensor System

Description: The aim is to develop a hardware and software to allow the Palm to measure some environment properties, such as:
  • temperature
  • pressure
  • 2 axis acceleration
This will allow a number of programs:
  • weather station
  • altimeter (e.g., flying or paragliding)
  • games using the 2 axis acceleration
  • many more ...

PST - Palm Stock Tracker

Description: The aim is to have a program store all your stock data on the Palm and treat it in a more intelligent manner than a notice would :-) This includes list of known stock (known), a list of stock one actually has (have), a list of expire dates for options and certificates (expire) and a tax/speculation table (tax). Later is still under development!

+ display list of transactions for owned stocks
+ display expire list for options and certificates (screenshot)
Limitations: - it is still very slow (well over 1 minute to buildup a view on my Palm IIIx)
- the tax tab still does not work correctly

Misc: I mainly use it on the desktop using PoP for the database emulation and only use the Palm version on the go...
