Anyhow, I've followed the instructions in the README file in the
bones subdirectory of the scotty distribution. After rebuilding scotty
with the --with-msql option I was able to create the msql database
and run the bones2sql and mib2sql scripts successfully. The
README states:
"Now you can look at the database using the bones.tcl script contained
in the tkined directory. It should show up as an option in the Tools
menu if you have compiled scotty with msql support."
When I fire up tkined, however, I don't see anything about bones in the
Tools menu. I tried running 'bones.tcl' manually with the Start Script
option, and was told "This scotty version is not able to talk to a msql
server."
What might I be doing wrong?
Note, I didn't run the nis2sql script since I'm not using nis...
