Last Tuesday, I have send out a few questions how people make use of
our software. I just finished a small awk script to calculate the
numbers appended below. Note, this does not mean that I stop counting
incoming responses. Quite the opposite: I still ask you to answer my
questions and to send comments if you have not done this yet.
Until now, I received 47 answers (there are ~ 290 people on this
list). Many answers contained very nice comments. This was especially
nice to read. :-) Some of you gave us some hints what could be
improved (documentation is the clear winner here). Many thanks to all
of you who send me a response. Perhaps some others like to join in?
Anyway, here are the numbers as of Fri Dec 1 18:42:21 MET 1995: (User
type and usage questions allowed to name more than one choice, that's
why the total number is larger than the number of responses.)
