The Institute of Operating Systems and Computer Networks (IBR) was founded in 1986 and is part of one of the oldest universities in Germany, the TU Braunschweig. It comprises the three research groups Connected and Mobile Systems (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lars Wolf), Reliable System Softwares (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Dietrich), and Algorithms (Prof. Dr. Sándor P. Fekete).
