AbstractBundle protocol defines the protocol for implementation of Delay Tolerant Networks. This facilitates connectivity in intermittently connected networks (typically because of mobile nodes) and/or highly stressed environments. The information transmission in this network happens through data units called ”bundles”. This happens with storing information about the neighbors and forwarding bundles accordingly to the neighbors. This thesis describes the theory and implementation of Bundle Protocol v7 for RIOT OS which is an operating system for low power embedded devices by adding of an overlay network in the current network stack.
